Baseball – OC played North Oconee yesterday afternoon. Although the Patriots lost the game 10-0, the loss pales in comparison to the injury sustained by Oglethorpe pitcher Joshua Lee. Lee, who was on the mound for the Patriots, was struck in the cheek by a hit pitch from a North Oconee batter. Lee, of course, was rushed to the hospital. As of this writing no report on Lee’s condition has been made public. If and when OCHS Sports receives word about Lee it will be posted here.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Joshua and his family for a speedy recovery.
