Update - This just in from track and field head coach Bob Finch: 

Maurice Freeman was named the State AA Athlete of the Week in the field events by the Georgia Track & Cross County Coaches Association on Monday. Maurice set a new meet record for the Parkview Need for Speed Invitational with a jump of 6’ 8” Friday night.
