Boys Soccer – OC faced off against Madison County in a soccer scrimmage Friday night. The Red Raiders, who went 9-7 last year defeated OC 5-0, but Coach Norton was pleased with the showing of the team.
Coach Norton said that while Madison Co had more talent and depth he was impressed and pleased that OC stayed with them for a good while. Coach Norton also pointed out that OC was without two starters and had two more players injured during the game.
OC plays East Hall on Tuesday, February 14th and Coach Norton said that would be a tough game, too. But Coach Norton believes playing these tougher teams will benefit OC in the long run.
